Kemen Port is a natural deep-water harbor lying in the Northeast part of Lianjiang County , Fujian Province. There are very good climate and geographic conditions with rich natural resource. The whole port area covers 54 sq.km. and has a peaceful deep-water coastline as wide as 29 km, which is suitable for anchoring of various kinds of vessels. In 2002, the General Plan of Fuzhou Port has arranged Kemen Port as a key imp & exp. entry of Fujian Province and other provinces, and meanwhile a multi-function port for container and general cargo as well. In the blueprint of Lianjiang’s future, Kemen Port is going to be a modern industrial area based on the port and supported by the industries of steel, petrochemistry, oil refining, machinery, as well as living.
